Pixsta is an Instagram client for Windows. The application previously known as Instagrille, gives you access to the popular online photo and video sharing site, letting you view photos from your PC. Using Pixsta you can interact with other Instagram users, like their pictures, follow new people, comment photos, and receive notifications right in your desktop.
Photo search in Pixsta works exactly the same as in Instagram; you can look for photos by using different tags, explore popular pics, or view images nearby your location. Grid and list viewing modes are available, and its resizable window can be adjusted as you prefer. When you find pics you like, Pixsta gives you the option to view them on the web, download them to your PC, or even share them to other social sites with a click of a button. The app also notifies you of new likes, comments, and new followers. You can also search for users, view profiles, and follow new people directly from Pixsta, provided you already have an Instagram account.
If there is one thing to complain about this application is that it works under the Pokki platform, thus requires you to download and install additional software.
Other than that, Pixsta offers Instagram users a new and convenient way of exploring and viewing photos, as well as interacting with other users.
